while I was reading of blue jeans, its honestly very hurtful. Because I remember wearing my jeans with confidence, now I wear jeans maybe once a year. We don’t realize how important something is, until it’s gone. I’ve never really even thought of where or how my jeans were made and honestly even reading this passage still not really interested. but that’s how some of us as Americans look at life. If it doesn’t directly affect us then we don’t care and that’s what this chapter made me think of. That’s where I think I can actually relate to macro/micro because thinking of life as it directly pertains to me, seems pretty micro. so while I was reading of blue jeans, I think about the material which is disposable unlike the legs that fill the jeans.
Reading what an actual sociologist is, I can honestly say I’m not entirely interested. Im studying to a psychologist so I’m just more interested in personal impact, then group impact. Im not too sure if I’m doing this blogging stuff right, I’m just writing my opinion about my readings.
